1. Information We Collect

• Contact information: Your email address and information you provide when contacting us.
• Pet photos and design information: Photos you upload, your pet’s name and type, submitted text, selected style, generated artwork, and design identifiers.
• Order and fulfillment information: Your name, shipping and billing addresses, order details, selected products, and fulfillment status. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not directly store complete payment-card details.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, cookies, security-verification results, access logs, timestamps, and Service usage.
• Communications: Support requests, feedback, and consent records, including permission to feature a design.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; create personalized artwork; send completion notices and private links; process purchases and delivery; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain required records; comply with law; and enforce our terms. We feature customer designs publicly only with explicit permission.

Depending on your location, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement.

3. AI Processing

We use AI-assisted tools to transform uploaded pet photos and submitted text into personalized artwork. Information needed for generation may be sent to our AI service provider, including OpenAI. AI-generated artwork may contain artistic variations and may not reproduce every detail exactly.

Upload only photos that you own or have permission to use. Do not upload sensitive personal information or images you are not authorized to submit.

4. Service Providers and Disclosure

We may disclose information to providers that process it on our behalf, including OpenAI for AI-assisted generation; Shopify and payment providers for the store, checkout, payments, and orders; Printify and its production partners for production and fulfillment; Resend for transactional email; Cloudflare for security and bot prevention; and hosting, database, logging, analytics, and technical-support providers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, during a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personalized pet photos or designs to other customers.

5. Design Privacy and Sharing

Uploaded photos and personalized designs are private by default. We do not intentionally publish, publicly list, or resell your personalized design. We will feature it in a gallery, advertising, or social media only with your explicit permission.

Treat private design links as confidential. Anyone with a valid link may be able to view the design until the link expires or access is disabled.

6. Retention

A private design link generally expires 90 days after issue. Link expiration does not necessarily mean the underlying files and records are immediately deleted. We may retain files, designs, logs, communications, and order records as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, support customers, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet production needs, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.

You may request deletion of eligible personal information. We may retain information where continued retention is required or permitted by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, operate checkout, improve performance, and protect against abuse. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, referral sources, and interactions with the Service using cookies or similar technologies. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms. You can limit this collection through your browser settings or available Google opt-out tools.

8. International Data Transfers

We are based in Japan and use providers in other countries. Your information may be processed where data-protection laws differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or portability. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity first.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information without appropriate authorization. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

Third-party services handle information under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revision and change the effective date. We may provide additional notice for material changes.
